We are looking for qualified teaching assistants with a passion and drive for working with children who require a learning offer that differs from the mainstream setting. The position is full time from September 2025,

We have given our posts a salary range at Scale 3 but believe experience and expertise are important.  For the right candidate to enhance our team we may stretch our budget a little further.

Person Specification

We are looking for talented teaching assistants to execute and employ a range of learning and teaching support strategies that will ensure our learners’ needs are met.  We are passionate about our children achieving well and we need a creative team who can see solutions and not problems to developing and delivering a curriculum that counts.

We are looking for staff with the following skillset to join our team:

  • Experience of working in primary schools
  • An understanding of supporting learners with SEMH needs
  • An understanding of strategies and therapies to be deployed to support learners with additional needs
  • A team player who isn’t afraid of hard work
  • Evidence of recent training
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good attendance
  • Maths and English competency to GCSE standard
  • Good ICT skills
